The Climadoor Internal Bifold Doors Range

If you're looking to update your living space with new internal doors, then internal bifold doors could be the ones for you. Perfect for maximising natural light between rooms, they're a practical, space saving option that gives you the flexibility to configure your living space exactly how you want to.

Unlike single leaf internal doors, an internal bi fold door can create the feel of open plan living or close off space when you need to. These interior doors often feature large glass panels so you can increase light flow throughout your home.

Internal Folding Doors To Suit You

Want to know more about our range? We offer 3 main types of internal folding doors - the Roomfold Standard, the Roomfold Deluxe, and the Roomfold Grande.

The Roomfold Standard Range

The Roomfold Standard range is a top-hung system with no base track or threshold, and is supplied with; doors, unfinished frame as standard, head track, running gear and hinges. It does however exclude handle/latch and flush bolts, allowing you to choose your own to suit your tastes. This room divider system allows through flooring to be installed with no break.

The Roomfold Deluxe Range

The Roomfold Deluxe range is also a top-hung internal bifold door system, but there is a much wider variety of panel sizes and width options available. These internal bi-folding door sets are offered complete with; finished frame; head track; low-level base track and threshold; stainless steel hinges and hinge handles and brushed stainless steel drop bolts. The only item you need to purchase is the handle/latch, where most people want to match existing ironmongery.

The Roomfold Grande Range

The Grande range of interior bifold doors includes the benefits of both the standard and the deluxe ranges, whilst being available in a huge range of sizes and is designed with no base tracks. The Grande range of room dividers is ideal for installing over existing floor coverings like tiling or parquet flooring.

The French Folding Range

French folding doors are the perfect choice if you want to enjoy the benefits of both traditional internal French doors and bifold doors in your home. With a French folding door, you can either open them in the middle, like a French door, or use the sliders to fold them back like a bifold door.

Once these internal bi fold doors are installed the low-level threshold aligns with most existing finished floor levels so you have little or no step, and these sets offer a higher level of rigidity when closed in a screen.

An added benefit of the Roomfold Deluxe over most other standard internal folding door systems is that door panels up to 762mm wide can be used giving you large glass panes, and large opening doors.

Styles & Finishes

It's important to choose new internal bifold doors to suit your décor, so we have a range of styles and finishes available.

Prefinished

Supplied ready to hang, just add door furniture. Fully finished internal bi folding doors have a coating applied in the factory so they don't require any paint or stain application on-site.

Unfinished

Ready to finish with your own paint or stain. Choose unfinished bifold doors if you have a unique colour in mind or want to match existing doors, furniture or windows. Add a stain to unfinished oak to make the most of the natural wood finish.

Glazing Options

You can also choose internal bifold doors with glazed or solid panels. We stock internal bifold door sets with clear and frosted glazing to give you the level of privacy you need.

Sizing

If you have any specific requirements on size, please don’t hesitate to call as most of our sets are joinery products meaning that they can be modified in height and width. These products should be installed by a joiner or professional DIYer to achieve the best product performance. Please ensure any unfinished internal folding doors are suitably stored and decorated before installation.

Questions about Internal Bifold Doors

What Are Internal Bifold Doors?

Interior bifold doors consist of 2-6 panels that fold back on themselves. They are also known as concertina doors, or accordion doors, because they open and close like an accordion.

This makes them great space savers, as well as stylish additions to your home. Internal bifold doors are an easy, attractive way of boosting natural light within your home and utilising room space.

Why Choose Internal Bi Fold Doors?

Interior bifold doors can be used for multiple purposes. If you are short on space, their folding style is a great way to separate rooms without having to worry about the width of the door once opened.

They are also a great way of creating space. A lot of people use folding glass doors as partitions to divide smaller rooms into two. For example, if you’ve always wanted a dining room but simply don’t have space in your house, some people may opt to divide their kitchen with interior folding doors. The transparency of the glazed doors can also make rooms feel much larger than they actually are.

Bifold interior doors are a flexible way of transforming the interior of your home. If you were to put up a wall between two rooms there’s not a lot you can do about it afterwards. Choosing an option like solid internal bifold doors means they can be folded back towards the wall so you can open up or close off space completely whenever you feel it necessary.

What Types of Internal Bi Folding Doors are Available?

There are multiple styles of internal bifold door, so if you want to completely separate the rooms you can opt for solid doors or doors with frosted windows. Choosing an internal bifold door with glass can allow you to let more light into your room, whilst still maintaining your privacy.

If you like the look of French doors but want the flexibility of bifold doors, we also offer a range of internal French folding doors which offer the best of both worlds. The style choice will depend on your personal preference but we're certain you will be able to find everything you need in our extensive internal bifold door range.

What do Internal Bifold Doors Cost?

Our range of interior folding doors starts from under £500. The size, material, finish and number of glazed panels will impact on the door price.
