Delightfully elegant and enduringly popular, the oak prefinished Mexicano is one of the most popular cottage style oak doors on the market today. This premium quality door is made with a solid core and given additional warmth and texture with a bold grain veneer made from A-grade American white oak. The deep V-grooves give the classic oak internal door its unique character.
This prefinished oak door requires no additional embellishments to finish it, so you can hang it straight away. Don't worry if your doorframe is non-standard, too. The door has 20mm of lipping on all 686mm and larger sizes, while doors of 610mm and below have up to 10mm of lipping. This allows you to adjust the size of your door for a tailored fit, cutting out draughts for a warmer, more comfortable home. Suitable for both large construction projects and one-off refurbishments, the oak prefinished Mexicano is an intelligent, cost-effective choice for the modern home.
We also stock this particular design in a wide range of conventional and less conventional sizes, so there should be next to no trimming required as long as you're careful and accurate with your measurements prior to ordering. If trimming is required, however, these doors are all supplied with generous 20mm lipping's, so can be trimmed to suit those more difficult openings on site. The Mexicano interior door is available in 35mm imperial, 40mm metric and 44mm FD30 fire door options, and with matching glazed options too.
These are beautifully designed and exceptional quality doors built from a lightweight, engineered oak material with a solid core. They are also available unfinished if you wish to supply your own finish or make alterations prior to finishing and hanging.
